I just spoke with Jeff about a HK-742 I saw sell for big money. He has never seen one, although he too was surprised at the recent sale price of one. I suspect the seller was surprised as well. It would appear that two people bidding on the piece are going after a full set of HKs or they have toes to the billboard industry. In general, whenever I think something is rare because I have never seen it, Jeff can usually rattle off a few dozen he has handled. If he has not seen it before, I suspect it is rarer than the HK listing would suggest.
