Unlisted Dauphin County SCD in Bronze

Cool piece.

I just picked up this SCD it is extremely rare in bronze. Also, I don't think that the seller realized but there is an engraving on the edge. It reads "Frederick Albert De-Haven Harrisburg, Pa." Frederick Albert Dehaven was a well known hardware merchant in the Harrisburg, Pa area. His dad was a well known builder who worked on the Union Canal and also the Reading Railroad. His dad also built the Soldier's Monument at the foot of State Street in Harrisburg and the Post office in that city.

I am trying to get the weights of these medals in silver, white metal and bronze. The white metal planchets are very thick. I don't know how consistent the weights are. Does anyone have them raw they can weigh? I need them (Jeff)

Anyone who collects exonumia should probably know about Brookgreen Gardens, SC. I first learned about Brookgreen from Tony Chibbaro at the 2013 National Token Collector's Association (NTCA) show in Reno, NV. Please see this site: http://www.angelfire.com/sc/sctokens/ I had the pleasure of finally visiting Brookgreen Gardens in May 2016 (photos below). It's a plantation now devoted to display of some amazing sculpture and medallic art in a gardens setting. If you collect exonumia, I think you should explore this organization..... http://www.brookgreen.org They release an annual medal that is free to members who donate above a certain level.
