US Centennial Visitors Medals

Does anyone know if additional medals in this series were produced? I've been looking for them..... From the HK book, these medals were struck by the ACS, trade name of Charles F. Smith (Boston, MA) and designed by J.R. Pinches Co, sculptor of London (HK-8 fame). Sold in the 1950s to increase interest in medals, these medals remind me of the efforts of MACO, including the "Society of Medalists" series. My understanding is that the series were limited (HK-506 had not more than 200-250 medals produced, and HK-506A and HK-506B even less....)

I recently acquired the attached 44.7mm medal honoring the English Visitors to the 1876 US International Exposition in Philadelphia. It is really in fantastic condition. Per John Raymond's website, this does qualify as a SCD (http://www.socalleddollar.com/abWorldsFairs.html) and was made in 5 variations (Washington obverse [Baker-428], English Visitors, French Visitors, German Visitors, and Catholic Visitors) in white metal, bronze, and silver. The Catholic pieces are apparently the rarest. As far as the metal variants go, white metal is the most common; apparently only 25 bronzes of each visitors medal were made -- with far less in silver -- for a jeweler named Delan (per John Kraljevich). I have never seen a silver -- please post one if you have one. I don't know much about the designer/engraver -- Rudolf Laubenheimer. edited by rjesinger on 3/11/2014

Here is Baker-428 in bronze ? sold by John Kraljevich recently.

Hello Bob. I purchased this from John. The other pieces that you have are very nice. The AE piece is actually Baker-428A, with the silver Baker-428, and the WM Baker 428B. I am hoping to get the complete set if they ever surface for sale.
