Near TOP POP, 140 have been graded and only 10 finer. This will fit nicely in a collection of GEM so-called dollars. Official Medal from the 1898 Trans-Mississippi International Exposition held in Omaha, Nebraska. A female bust on the obverse and on the reverse a mounted Indian spearing a buffalo. This is the Gold-Plated version struck by the United States Mint. The Hibler & Kappen SCD reference book incorrectly refers to this as a brass version.
