Reverse legend “PLACED IN STATUARY HALL WASHINGTON D.C. FEB. XVII M.C.M.V. Microscopic “CHILDS CHICAGO”. Frances E. Willard was the leader of the temperance movement, president of the W.C.T.U. in 1879 and helped organize the Prohibition Party. Struck in Bronze.
