The Official Medal from the 1915 Panama – Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco, California. Struck in Statuary Bronze. Obverse features winged Mercury opening the Canal locks through which passes Argo symbol of navigation, setting sun reflecting on her sails. Reverse has two females representing the two hemispheres entwined about earth and holding in hands cornucopias. Beautiful red hues with outstanding eye appeal.
