Looks nicer than a MS66. The Monorail was the first public transit, full-scale Monorail enabling visitors to reach the 74-acre exposition grounds from downtown Seattle, a distance of 1 mile, in 96 seconds and demonstrated for the first time the potential of this new way of solving mass transit problems which face expanding cities. Medal orientation. The obverse has the high relief Monorail with the Space Needle to the left and the Seattle City Skyline below in the distance. On the reverse is the official logo of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. All are edge marked THE METAL ARTS CO. INC., ROCH., N.Y. Silver are also marked .999 silver.
