The visit of President William H. Taft to Seattle on September 30, 1909 is commemorated on this Gold-Plated .900 fine silver medal designed and produced by Joseph Mayer & Brothers Jewelry Company in Seattle. A variation of the AYPE logo surrounded by an ornate wreath is depicted on the obverse. Reverse has commemorative text with an olive branch, a Mayer signature, and the .900 indication along with “SILVER” imprinted on the edge.
