1958 Minnesota Statehood Centennial So-Called Dollar for the Alexandria Centennial. Struck in Gilt Bronze. The obverse features two busts of men mirrored on the coin, hands present below the busts with the dates 1858 and 1958 below the hands. The reverse shows a tablet showing a Viking man with a spear and shield, a bird and a fish to either side, and another man carving into a stone slab. The carving is the famous Kensington Rune Stone found in the Alexandria area in 1898.
