Only seven “PL’s” graded finer. A common piece but very difficult to find this nice. A female with a rising sun behind her; she is holding a sign that says PAX, a Latin greeting for peace or “peace with you.” Columbus’s ship, the Santa Maria, is depicted on the reverse in full sail with a rising sun behind it.
