Certainly one of the finest known. The photos don’t depict it, but there are hints of iridescent blue toning along the perimeter on the obverse and the reverse. Includes an envelope from a previous sale by Joe Levine of Presidential Coin dated June 25, 1994. Dies engraved by George Morgan of the Philadelphia Mint. Medals struck to commemorate the opening of the Manilla Mint, Philippine Islands, the only overseas mint ever established by the U.S. 2,200 struck in silver, many were dumped into the Manila Bay during World War II.
