SILVER Robert Fulton So-Called Dollar issued by Thomas Elder in 1909. Struck to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the discovery of the Hudson River and the centenary of successful steamboat navigation. Obverse features the bust of Robert Fulton, on the reverse is a sailing ship “The Claremont”. Struck in silver, the size of gold dollar.
