A stellar medal struck in silver with exquisite electric blue toning intermixed with hints of russet colors. An extraordinary example of a variety seldom ever offered for sale. Stuck by the U.S. Mint. This is the official medal struck for the Pan-American Exposition held in Buffalo, New York. Obverse features a standing heroic Indian atop a flying eagle. On the reverse is a relief map of the western hemisphere. Rare silver variety.
