SOLD: HK-395 UNL 1910 Ohio Valley Exposition Official SCD – Unlisted as Gold-Plated

This is the finest example of this SCD that I have ever seen, an exceptional GEM. This is the Gold-Plated variety, previously not cataloged but it is cataloged in the new standard edition So-Called Dollars Volume I: U.S. Expositions. Engraved by George Morgan, the official medals were struck in the U.S. Mint exhibit at the exposition. A full figure female is holding a wreath over the Ohio Valley with a steamboat on the Ohio River behind her.
