TOP POP, this is the only one certified by NGC. This is the “Plate Coin” photographed in the new standard reference book “So-Called Dollars Volume I: United States Expositions”. This So-Called Dollar is unlisted in Hibler & Kappen. Childs Five Buildings with Rays die paired with their Wonderful Aluminum reverse. Childs has two different types of the Five Edifices dies, this one having rays in the fields between the buildings, the other die variety has scrolls. From 12 o’clock around clockwise Electrical Building / Mines & Mining Bldg/ Manufacturing & Liberal Arts / Machinery Hall. Administration Building in center. Obverse die signed S.D. CHILDS & CO CHICAGO, but it is not signed OA below the Administration Building.
