A really exciting copper variety, and struck Off Center, most noticeably at the top where there are no denticles. Extraordinary red color. Engraved by George Morgan, the official medals were struck in the U.S. Mint exhibit at the exposition. A full figure female is holding a wreath over the Ohio Valley with a steamboat on the Ohio River behind her.
