This is a scarce clipped planchet ERROR, seldom seen in So-Called Dollars. Struck in bronze. Official Medal from the 1907 Jamestown Tercentennial Exposition held in Norfolk, Virginia. Obverse features the female Indian bust of Pocahontas, the reverse features the ship of Captain John Smith. Bronze. Engraved by George Morgan and struck at the U.S. Mint Exhibit on the exposition grounds.
