Near TOP POP, 55 certified only four graded finer. The medals were sold to raise funds for Colorado’s participation in the Century of Progress Exposition to be held in Chicago in 1933. Four types were struck. This medal is Type II. Obverse states “A Century of Progress Souvenir” with Colorado’s State Seal in center. Reverse states “Silver Will Restore Prosperity 1933”. Struck in one ounce fine SILVER.
