On the obverse, we see an angel with star above it and a cherub facing away from the angel. The angel is holding an olive branch in right hand, and the cherub is holding caduceus in left hand. On the reverse, it depicts the U.S. flag. This medal was made to commemorate end of Spanish-American War and return to peace.
