The obverse features the Phoenix Bird arising from the flams, representing Atlanta, arising from the ashes of the Civil War which ended only 30 years before when Union Army Major General William T. Sherman captured and burned Atlanta. Ariel view of the exposition grounds on the reverse, with micro-signature lower right Massonnet, Paris. Certified by NGC in an oversized slab.
