Beautiful golden amber toning with traces of blue. Obverse portrays Uncle Sam handing a French maiden a bag of money in exchange for a property deed. Previously cataloged as both brass and gilt, they are all actually gold-plated. These are found struck from identical dies with a reeded edge and a plain edge, all have a medal orientation. This piece has a plain edge.
