Stacks sold one in this exact same grade, NGC MS 63 for $1,800 August, 2022. This one at $425 is over $1,350 less! This is also the “Plate Coin” photographed in the book So-Called Dollars Volume I: U.S. Expositions. The Electrical Building exhibits two die varieties. The aluminum medal has a reeded edge and sports triangular pennants along the top. The silver-plated version has a plain edge and swallowtail pennants. We have not examined the gold-plated version.
