Francis E. Willard bust on the obverse. Willard was an American educator, reformer, and founder of the World Woman’s Christian Temperance Union in 1883. An excellent speaker, a successful lobbyist, and an expert in pressure politics, she was a leader of the National Prohibition Party which she helped organize. Reverse scene of a male addressing 12 women, many of whom are kneeling and praying.
