Obverse shows a California Grizzly Bear on a crag high atop a mountain looking down over a detailed bird’s eye view of the Midwinter exposition grounds. The reverse legend expounds the numerous benefits of aluminum, a popular metal then produced inexpensively due to the invention of electricity. Engraved, struck and signed by Noble Chicago along the lower rim on the reverse.
