The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake Dollar. The obverse shows California Street with buildings in ruins. The reverse features the ruins of City Hall. Struck Gold-Plated, this is an example of the non-clock tower variety. The photos have a reddish hue, but the medal exhibits gold-plated surfaces with no hints of red.
