1967 Seattle's Hiram Chittenden Locks SCD

The locks separate Puget Sound from the Lake Washington Ship Canal. The grounds are beautiful and have concessions, a picnic area and ample parking. The best season to visit is mid-August thru mid September when the salmon go through the fish ladder and jump out of the water. Seattle is beautiful in August.
