Discussion Forum Inactivity

So is this forum still in use or is it a dead not used anymore site. I have seen no activity on it for 8 months, no discussions , no postings and no likes or dislikes. Has this been moved to another site

Hi Billy, this is John Raymond. Is there any particular subject that you would want to start with? Jeff's new book? So called dollar auction results? William Warner & Brother and other Philadelphia minters? Grading services? Specific gravity and other metal content analysis? Whatever....

John, good to hear from you. I am getting back active and my passion as always remains new finds, posting new acquisitions, sharing recent new research. Did get new deluxe edition new book. Sounds like most of old guys have drifted away or site not where its at any longer. Should be at next get together.

Was getting excited over how many new listings for new book there are and switching from unlisted to listed. just had 31 items returned from NGC and noticed still not listing them in census. Had
2 items never before graded and the weren't put in listing.

Good to hear from at least one of the old time original collectors.

Hi Bill, This is Jeff and I have some changes I hope to have made to my site, so it has been inactive as of late. I expect in the next 3-6 months to start promoting it's use again, and hopefully have more posts as in the past.

Hi Billy,

It has been quiet here.   I do watch the PCGS forum... and Zoins seems to be the main poster there pushing medals and tokens.   Jeff is still very active in sales and published articles in TAMS, ANA, etc.   There seem to be a lot of talks online via ANS, TAMS, PCNS, etc. worth tuning into, including the ANA Summer Seminar in 2024 where Neil Musante has a course on early medal strikes in the mint.   Things are not dead... just spread out quite a bit.

It's good to see some activity!

Greetings Billy!

Check out the new finds I recently posted, SH 16-12 gold plated and SH 16-12 Die Test
