Near TOP POP, only five finer. Looks much nicer than a 62. John C. Heenan, the “Benicia Boy” won the first clear claim to the American heavyweight title. This was struck to commemorate the famous 1860 bare-knuckle World Championship Heavyweight fight with England’s champion Tom Sayers. The match lasted over two hours and ended in a 42-round draw.
