Unusually attractive toning for a white metal example with red, blue and green toning primarily on the reverse. Struck in the 1860’s as part of Alfred S. Robinson’s Historical Series. Obverse features the bust of Robert Fulton, below dated “Born 1765 Died 1815”. The reverse legend states “Steam navigation was first established in the United States on the Hudson River 1807”. Struck in silver-plated white metal.
