Stacks Bowers sold a lower grade NGC 64+ for $1,320 11/2019. This medal commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the departure of the Continental Army from Valley Forge. Authorized by Congress, designed and engraved by William Barber and struck in bronze in 1880 at the Philadelphia Mint. Obverse features the bust of George Washington.
