The obverse design of the Liberty Bell is similar to Key’s Liberty Bell designs from the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but they are not the same and are of somewhat lower quality, not likely engraved by Key. The U.S. Mint had an exhibit at the exposition, and the authors believe this was likely a U.S. Mint engraved product struck at the exposition. Reverse legend commemorates the loaning of the Liberty Bell from the City of Philadelphia to the Exposition of New Orleans in 1885. Struck in White Metal, unsigned. Sold by Warner. 37.68 mm. 16.94g
