James Murdock, Jr. octagonal design featuring a Continental soldier to honor the Ohio Valley settlers of 1788. The reverse features Old Fort Washington. Microsignature MURDOCK CINCINNATI on the reverse at the top. There is another medal with a similar design that is round and too small to catalog as a so-called dollar. Graded XF with light scratches in the fields.
