Obverse die depicting the Landing of Columbus combined with the Discovery of America Legend reverse. Designed and signed C. REINSCH of Waterbury, Connecticut at lower curve of base to the left, struck by S.D. Childs of Chicago. There are two obverse die varieties, one is signed, one is not. This is the scarcer unsigned variety. Similar obverse scene as SH 6-34 but a different die. The reverse die was reused for SH 6-179.
