This is the rarer and much larger 60 mm White Metal variety struck with a plain edge and medal orientation. A multiple theme medal showing the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the obverse and landing scenes of Columbus and the Pilgrims on the reverse, Signed R.L. to the right of the pilgrim landing scene, engraved by Boldenweck & Co.
