This is the “Plate Coin” photographed in the new standard reference book “So-Called Dollars Volume I: United States Expositions”. This So-Called Dollar is unlisted in Hibler & Kappen. Although the Armory First Infantry was built prior to the fair, it was here that the dedication ceremony reception took place. It attracted a million spectators and 15,000 guests including President Harrison and Vice President Morton.
