Near TOP POP, only 3 graded finer in PL. The Michigan Forestry Exhibit obverse combined with the Thomas Nester Champion Load of Logs. Signed CHILDS CHICAGO below the base of the building. The report of the Michigan Board of Managers stated that this was the “largest load of logs ever drawn by a single span of horses.” There is a die blunder with the letter S punched below the T of NESTER on the reverse.
