Unusual oblong shape with a bust of Columbus on the obverse and a detailed underground mining scene on the reverse. This is one of the rarer Columbian Exposition pieces. Struck in Aluminum with a horizontal slit at the top. This piece has been cleaned but is still quite attractive.
