Certified by NGC as HK-155C, the “C” for Silver-Plated, there are only two others certified as HK-155C by NGC. Graded by NGC as Uncirculated details – cleaned. A significant rarity to say the least. Certainly one of the greatest rarities from the entire Columbian Exposition. This SCD is also struck in silver, for which there are a few known, and white metal, of which 4 were reported from the George Morgan estate, and one in copper, and five in bronze. From the Jeff Shevlin Collection. This is the Lower Flag variety, Small Letter variety of the Official U.S. Mint souvenir medal minted on the fairgrounds.
