This is not the gold-Plated variety normally seen, this is an early striking in Oreide. Official Medal from the 1893 Columbian Exposition held in Chicago, Illinois. Type I large letter obverse variety features the U.S. Government Building. Struck in Oreide. This is a two pearl variety.
