TOP POP, there are 6 certified in 67. Struck in bronze. Attractive medal struck by Wilhelm Mayer of Stuttgart, Germany and sold by the Heenen Bros., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Signed W.M. below the bust. Also comes in 55mm, and 90mm sizes, and smaller 28mm versions which are not cataloged here. Compare to George Morgan’s portrait of Liberty on the silver dollar. The authors believe these were all struck as proofs. All varieties have what appears to be a dropped O on the reverse above 400th.
