Very attractive with proof-like surfaces. This is much nicer than usually found. Obverse portrait of entertainer Ada Rehan, real name Ada Crehan, who modeled for the Montana Statue of Justice depicted on the reverse. Signed COPYRIGHT 1893 BY R.H. PARK below Rehan’s bust. The solid silver statue was located in the Montana Mining Exhibit within the Mines and Mining Building. Unfortunately no medals are known struck in silver. This variety has the copyright which is below the bust, the copyright was was punched into the medals after they were struck. Not all are found with the copyright.
