This is the “PLATE” SCD photographed in the Hibler & Kappen 2008 So-Called Dollar Book. The architecture of the Administration Building was referred to as a layer-cake design. Aluminum new metal tokens and store cards were struck in abundance for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Most of the Midwinter so-called dollars were struck in aluminum. Reverse microscopic signature NOBLE CHICAGO. The N of Noble appears to be two V’s, one punched upside down to create an N.
