The finest certified by NGC is 63. Although not a signed Blumeneneld piece and not signed by Chicago engraver A. Hylen, the obverse is the same design as that used by the exposition organizing committee. This was the official medal sold at the August 1893 groundbreaking ceremonies. SH 7-3 through SH 7-7 have similar design characteristics, and the authors believe they were struck prior to the exposition to promote the event.
