SOLD: 1895 Venetian Water Festival Souvenir SCD

Struck by Moise, a San Francisco minter. Unlisted in the Hibler & Kappen reference book, this shares the same reverse as about a half-dozen other so-called dollars from the late 1890’s. There is an excellent article published on the Moise medals, authored by Hill Hyder and me, Jeff Shevlin.
