This variety has a mound of gold on the obverse at 6:00. Submitted as a design proposal for international coinage by Dana Bickford to Dr. Henry R. Linderman then Mint Director who approved the idea. On the obverse in circles are printed comments about international coinage. The reverse has valuations from different Nations. Struck in Aluminum with a Brass center. This lot includes an envelope from a previous sale by Paul Koppenhaver in the 1980’s.
