TOP POP, ten certified and none graded finer. Although the NGC does not state it, this is without a question a Bronzed Proof. Wonderful highly reflective proof fields. Obverse with a bust of President Andrew Jackson within a wreath, 13 stars above, name in wreath, “OLD HICKORY” below, reverse with Tennessee State Arms in depression at center, legends around. Born in the Carolinas, Jackson made Tennessee his home and represented the state in both houses of Congress, the state Supreme Court, and the state militia. Dated 1896, the planned opening date for the exposition which was delayed one year.
