Exposition official medal engraved by Geroge Morgan of the Philadelphia Mint. There is a micro “M” for Morgan on the obverse below the angel’s feet and on the reverse at the bottom on the ribbon, similar to the “M” on the Morgan dollar. The Hibler & Kappen book identifies these as struck in brass but the are in fact all gold-plated. Twenty-four certified by NGC with only seven graded finer.
