Metal Silver-Plated

This is the exceptionally scarce Silver-Plated variety, which is not listed in H&K. This variety is listed in my new standard reference book “So-Called Dollars Volume I: United States Expositions.” This is the official medal struck for the Pan-American Exposition held in Buffalo, New York. Obverse features a standing heroic Indian atop a flying eagle. On the reverse is a relief map of the western hemisphere. Rare silver variety.
