Obverse bust of President McKinley who was assassinated at the Pan-American Exposition held in Buffalo, New York. Reverse features an edifice of the Temple of Music where President McKinley was greeting citizens late in the afternoon on September 6, 1901 when he was shot. The President died eight days later on September 14th. Struck in brass with a reeded edge and coin orientation. This example has been cleaned.
