This is a relatively unknown Large Letters reverse variety not listed in H&K, varieties have been certified by NGC. This is an even more extremely rare BROCKAGE ERROR. This error is caused when a struck medal does not get ejected from the dies and another planchet is inserted into the dies to be struck. One side of the new planchet is struck from the die, the other side of the medal gets a reverse image caused by the medal still in the press. Errors like this are extremely rare. Reverse features a legend within a wreath. Struck Gold-Plated.
